“It’s none of their business that you have to learn to write. Let them think you were born that way.”

– Ernest Hemingway

I’ve been reading and writing stories since childhood. I love the lure of the extraordinary each time I step into the pages of a different world.

My childhood was nomadic; moving countries every few years, attending new schools, and making new friends. It was hard to pack up and start all over each time.  Books were friends I could take with me anywhere.

When I began writing, I realised my stories weren’t just random fantasies, they had my truths woven through them. Things I felt deeply emerged, magically transformed, in a different world.

My series about women, begins with my novel, Original Sinner. Eve is a woman we know about only through stories written by men. I wanted to give her a voice so she could tell her own story. What is it like being tempted by the devil?

I am combining my two loves, travel and writing, as I venture to new places and meet new people.

It is a great honour to share my stories with you. I hope they bring you joy.
